The Little IKEA
A street store for Gen Z shoppers in 2040. IKEA’s function, cut to the scale of one Manhattan neighbourhood. Scan the tag, add to cart, pick it up.
I’m Emir Karagoz. I design stores, showrooms and bars that tell a story, from the first glance at the window to the moment you decide to stay.
Istanbul → Barcelona → New YorkEvery space has a story to tell. I write it first, then draw the plan that lets people walk through it.
Every city and client is research. Look closely, ask one more question.
Ideas are only as good as the plan that carries them. Measure, then detail.
A space should make people smile once. Squeeze the duck, scan the tag.
Design for the guest, not the photo. Comfort and welcome come first.

Banquettes and the dining room
Turkish retail and interior designer, based between Barcelona and New York. My travels and the cultures I’ve lived in feed every project.
For me, design is about making spaces people love to be in. Every space has a story to tell, and I try to craft designs that resonate with the people who experience them, whether it’s a cozy home or a vibrant retail environment.
